16 courageous things to do this month

letting go

Fear keeps you stuck where you are. It keeps you limited to what you already know. It stops you from learning, growing and evolving.

This month of courage, I invite you to exercise it, as you would any muscle. Here are 16 ideas you can do this month to move from a place of fear into the expansiveness of courage:

1. Let go of things and ideas about yourself that no longer serve you.

2. Say no to things that are keeping you stuck in the past.

3. Say yes to being uncomfortable—like taking a solo trip, trying a dish you’ve never tasted, wearing a bright red lip.

4. Quit whining.

5. Take one small step towards your dream.

6. If you’re the type who believes that you’re the only one who can get things done, ask someone for help.

7. Change the subject when people start gossiping.

8. Start a 30-day challenge to invite new experiences in your life and to practice not giving up.

9. Prioritize you and your self-care more than your busy-ness.

10. Say yes to an unexpected opportunity, without overthinking.

11. Speak up during a meeting, planning or brainstorming session.

12. Write an impassioned (but respectful) post on your blog or social media channels about something you believe in.

13. Make a new friend. Ask her to coffee.

14. Finally do that one thing you’ve been putting off. Block off 30 minutes—no phone, no Facebook, no Netflix.

15. Have that difficult conversation.

16. Choose to do something out of love instead of fear.
