So this just happened…

An early-morning message just brought me so much joy.

Life coach training...complete!

Life coach training…complete!

I am a Courageous Living Coach Certification graduate (scream)!

This blog post’s headline makes it seem that it just effortlessly happened, that it was easy.

It wasn’t.

I had to overcome my tendency to be quiet among strangers and speak up during the live classes and on our phone calls. I had to coach during my first weekend of meeting my fellow classmates. I had to wake up at 12:50 a.m. on Sunday mornings to make it to our 1:00 a.m. call. Then there was lots of reading that had to be fitted into my schedule.

But I also got a chance to meet my roommate and make a great new friend. I remember walking on a path surrounded by tall grass by a lake, discussing coaching techniques. Then there were all those hours of coaching where I felt so privileged to be trusted by clients and where I would emerge from sessions feeling energized rather than drained.

My friends all ask me: So what’s next?

What’s next is to continue coaching all these amazing women, to continue being the best coach I possibly can be.

What’s next is to build up my business—to map out my plan for 2016 and how I can let people know more about life coaching and about me.

It was an incredible experience to go through the training program. I can’t wait to see how this adventure will continue to unfold.

  2. Congrats, Aurora! 🙂 It was a privilege to be in the same course as you. I still use the realizations I had from our live call coaching session together. Learning to take the time to stop and listen to that little voice in my head has been HUGE. I’m forever grateful to you for creating and holding that space for me.

    • And congratulations too, Addie! It was a privilege to have coached you and to know that you’re still using the tools of that session means so much to me. Take care. I love that we keep in touch through this blog. <3
