Trust in the journey

photo-1414703808316-7532227b387fIn today’s overplanned, over-educated, perfection-seeking world, is there a place for this admonition:  “to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick—no food, no sack, no money in their belts?”*

This was from last Sunday’s gospel*.  I had heard this many times over the years but this time, it made me pause and think.

Is it really possible to have that level of trust?

In this life coaching journey, what is my walking stick?

Is it my digital marketing and content strategy?

Or Is it my intention to to help?

Or is it the willingness to do this work, to put myself out there?

Or is it my ability to take joy in the journey, knowing that every step leads me to a place better than where I’ve been?
