- Long weekends. There were two this August which make me so grateful.
- The Philippine Literary Festival where I met one of my favorite authors, Meg Wolitzer, who wrote The Interestings and The Wife, two of my most-loved reads this year. Can’t wait to dig into Matthew Quick’s latest as well (he was also a guest author).
- I have to wear close-toed shoes for work. Weekends are for sandals from Renegade Folk.
- I’m choosing to go more natural with my skincare. I’m loving Ilog Maria products for its soap, facial oil and body wash. They’re honey-based and smell really clean and delicious.
- My shampoo comes from Ritual. Their new location feels so much fresher and has more room for their artisanal food and body finds.
- I finally got to watch Inside Out. It’s the perfect movie for life coaches as it once again emphasizes that there is no sadness without joy, and vice versa, and how we need to make room for ALL emotions.
- I’m reading a lot for my #lifecoachingbookclub this month. In my bag are The Crossroads of Should and Must (love!) and You are a Badass (#currentlyreading). On hiatus is Playing Big. I’m also filling up The Desire Map workbook.
- Need a good laugh? Liz Climo is really funny!
- I finally bought myself an amethyst mala. So beautiful and helps me ground myself at the end of the day and during my coaching sessions.
- I have no Photoshop skills so I’m so grateful for apps like Rhonna Designs that help me come up with better-looking Instagram posts or blog headers.
I’m so glad you now have comments on your blog! I love reading your 10 Things posts and haven’t been able to say as much before. 🙂 I still haven’t seen “Inside Out” but will totally watch it when it comes to Netflix! Also: I’m at the beginning of a three day weekend here in the states and I’m LOVING it! 🙂 Happy weekend, Aurora!
Happy LONG weekend, Addie. Thank you for the comments. You should definitely catch Inside Out. Very awesome!
