I used to make this list every month. I haven’t made one in almost two years but I figured that since it’s the month of love, it’s a good time to sit down and share what I’m loving—from underwear to books:
1. This is my favorite bra. The lace details, the fact that I can just slip it on, no underwire—what’s not to adore?
2. The most expensive skincare product in my routine but it’s worth every peso. The hype around Vitamin C is real! I’m seeing the brightening effects! I use it every morning before applying sunblock.
3. I found these two books in Powerbooks Podium: How to Not Always be Working and Creativity Takes Courage. I’m looking forward to starting these this month.
4. I’m still in the komono category for Marie Kondo and working my way through paper, Instagram accounts and electronics. Because of this, I’ve become more intentional about what I bring into my home.
5. Still my favorite blogs after all these years because of their open-heartedness, truth, creativity and mastery of the written word (and accompanying graphic): Alexandra Franzen, Reading my Tea Leaves, Cup of Jo, Yarn Harlot, Design for Mankind
6. A Netflix series I really got into this January
7. I just finished this book and yes, it deserves ALL.THE.PRAISE. If you’re a writer, pick this one up now.
8. This planner—perfect for keeping me on track with my goals with space for my weekly intentions, top three priorities, habit trackers and collection of books I’ve read (fun fact: Christine Herrin who created this amazing product also designed The Sunday Night Journal)
9. Part of my “meaningful expansion” intention also means leaving my house for workouts. I’ve been doing the spinning classes here and it’s been fun. However, I’m looking at trying something new every month. I would love any recommendations for amazing classes in the Ortigas area.
10. I supported the Kickstarter for these cards and I’m looking forward to journaling and blogging with these when I lack inspiration.
Oops, and one more: The entire family uses these toothbrushes and the built-in two minute timer is a game-changer.
