1.Intentionally engage with your feed. Instead of mindlessly scrolling, connect with the photo and caption as if it were a true conversation. Pay attention to the photo and leave a thoughtful comment. The word “social” is an integral part of social media after all. (I got this idea from my coach Helen McLaughlin’s blog.)
2. Listen to a podcast. There’s literally a show for every interest. My newest obsession: The Dropout
3. Create a bad-ass playlist on Spotify that will fire up your mornings…or calm you down at night…or perk up a bad day…or make you feel nostalgic…or feed your baduy side (don’t worry, we won’t tell).
4. Work on a creative project by taking up an online class. I’m currently enrolled in Judy Blume’s Masterclass.
5. Write in your gratitude journal.
6. Scribble a postcard to your future self or your younger self.
7. Look for images for your vision board and start creating one.
8. Start a bullet journal.
9. Learn something new—Google Youtube videos and find topics you’re curious about.
10. Do a 10-minute workout session.
11. Meditate.
12. Take a walk and just listen to your thoughts (see if you can lower the volume on the inner-critic voices).
13. Hand-letter your favorite quote in your planner.
