Last year, yoga teacher Anna Manalastas and I launched The Tiny Self-Care Retreat, a three-hour experience over Zoom. It was our way of reminding women to slow down and take time to care for their heart, mind, body and spirit. It was our offering to help them pause in the middle of the worries and fears around the pandemic.
It’s another lockdown for the next two weeks. We invite you to the revamped Tiny Self-Care Retreat as an alternative to doomscrolling or doing retail therapy.
The Tiny Self-Care Retreat is a seven-day, self-paced virtual wellness retreat. All you need is 20 to 40 minutes in your day (and a bit longer on the first and last days). You can start when you’re ready and take it at a time most convenient for you.
Each day, you will be treated to a yoga class, a meditation and different mindfulness practices—from journaling to creating an altar, from a body love practice to a burn ritual.
The Tiny Self-Care Retreat is a pause in your busy day so you can relax and restore yourself to life again.
It is an opportunity to fill yourself up so you can serve the world and show up for its challenges from a place of joy, compassion and peace. It is a nurturing space for your tired heart.
It is a time to reconnect with yourself and your needs and give them deep love and attention.
It’s about reclaiming your power over fear and anxiety and settling gently into the knowledge that all will be well.
The doors to The Tiny Self-Care Retreat are open. Come in. We look forward to spending a week with you and your generous heart.
