A year ago, an amazing group of women gathered together every Friday morning (Manila time) to learn how to become a life coach. We were trying to make our way courageously through this brave new world, wanting to help with all of our hearts but not knowing quite how just yet.
A year later, we’re now life coaches. I asked my fellow classmates what advice they would give to themselves a year ago. Their words were so sweet and will apply to anyone trying something for the first time.
Lexi Koch‘s advice:
You will know how to ride the waves of life in a way you hadn’t imagined possible before. There will be a FLOOD of new tools coming your way that will challenge you and excite you. They will break through every block in your being until the river in you runs clear and free. You will learn how to be in a relationship in the most intimate, safe, deep way with anyone who is willing and able to meet you there. You will find your true purpose.
Julie Houghton‘s advice:
Trust the process and trust your self.
My advice:
There’s value in simply showing up. All that’s required is for you to be fully present in the experience. Allow yourself to be a beginner and be gentle with yourself.
