A simple way to get over impostor syndrome and build your confidence

I recently had this thought: What if I didn’t graduate from the honors program at university? How would my life look like? How would that have affected my confidence when I first started applying for jobs?

That single decision—a commitment to work hard and do everything possible to graduate from that course—propelled me forward when I felt I wasn’t worthy or had impostor syndrome:

Someone who graduated from that course could…

…meet with executives to close the license for the Philippine edition of her favorite magazine.

…speak in an international conference in front of the biggest magazine publishers in the world.

…change her career and start her own coaching business.

…reach out to powerful women she admires to ask if they needed coaching support.

…start her own retreat.

What accomplishment are you proudest of? How can you use that as a building block for confidence? How can you take that energy into your future dreams, knowing that you already have it in you to make it happen…because you’ve done it before?

I believe in you.

You’ve done it before.

You can do it again.
