A few questions to ask as we start another year

There’s something magical about ripping open the plastic covering your calendar or planner and seeing the year stretching in front of you unmarked, open and full of possibilities. A blank slate.

This is it, you vow. This is my year…to become the person I want to be, to achieve my goals, find my purpose, write my novel, lose weight, start meditating, be happy, change my life.

The good news: Yes, you CAN do all that this year.

The bad news: the New Year isn’t really a blank slate. You will still be bringing the old you into the new one, with the same limiting beliefs, ingrained habits, fears and trauma that you have carried with you in the past.

The best news: every day, you can shine the light on what scares you, what limits you. You can ask yourself if the stories you continue to tell about your life and your self still serve you. Nothing changes until you do. And you can choose to believe differently.

You don’t have to wait until the new year.

So what are you ready to let go?

And what are you ready to embrace?

What do you want to say yes to?

How willing are you to change how you look at yourself, your world, your life?

Are you ready to believe that you are worthy, amazing and deserving of all that you want?

What new stories are you ready to tell?
