Client challenge: My dream isn’t even “realistic.” Why should I bother?

it's okay to dream new dreams, to not have a passion, to stop hustling. You have a dream—it’s big! It’s glorious! It will touch people’s lives! You’re ready to change the world!

But you’re just one person. Without much resources or connections. Or skills. Or even the right education to impress anyone.

And it’s scary because the voice inside your head constantly asks: “What if you fail?” “What if no one buys/shows up/emails back/asks?” “What will people think?”

Why bother?

You bother because:

Your heart is longing for it. You know that the life that’s possible is bigger and better than the one you’re currently living.

You know that people not only need the product or service you’re dreaming of but want it.

You’re resilient. You’ve been through tough times and made it through. And you don’t give up easily. You want what you want and go after it.

You believe in your vision and your ability to make things happen because you’ve done it before. You’ve made things real that you never even thought was possible.

You see what others have done and how they have succeeded with backgrounds even more challenging than yours. See Oprah, J.K. Rowling, Reese Fernandez-Ruiz and Roma Agsalud.

You don’t want to live a life of regrets. You don’t want to be 80 and realize that there are things you wanted for yourself if you only had the courage to reach for it.

You’re willing to go beyond the critical voices in your head and shift your energy and attention to courage and creativity instead of fear.

You have the ability to figure things out.

You don’t want to waste your life building other people’s dreams and not yours.

Does this sound like you? Do you have a dream? Get unstuck so you can start moving towards it. Build your courage and your commitment. Strengthen your vision and your goals. Let’s make it happen together.
