One thing I’m afraid to tell you: I’m scared too

A few weeks ago, I sat in my bed at 3 a.m., crying.  It was one of those nights, where the darkness seemed to stretch too long and day felt so far away.

I sobbed:

Am I really good enough?

Can I make my life coaching business a success?

What if I just give up and go back to the security of the corporate world?

What if I fail?

My husband sat beside me, holding my hand, as he has done on countless dark nights, silent, just listening.  When I had cried my heart out, he told me:

I believe in you.  I know you can do this.  I’m here with you through all of this.

When you’re scared and you feel vulnerable and tender, when you’re filled with so much doubt, when you feel paralyzed by fear, it helps to have someone just sit with you, to listen, to encourage you with their unwavering support, their love and belief in your amazing self.

So I wiped my nose on my nighty (as you do on these long crying sessions).  I took a deep breath, said a prayer and chose to trust (yet again) in myself and this path that I have chosen.

__________

If you’re feeling unsupported through a big change…

If you’re doubting your self, your abilities, your choices…

If you’re feeling vulnerable and scared about your life…

I would love to sit with you, listening and reminding you about how amazing you truly are …and how your dream is worth it—despite the tears and the fears.
