Tips for journaling #3: If you can’t find the time to journal…

finding time to journalSometimes finding time to journal is another thing on your to-do list. Journaling is one of my favorite self-care rituals and it should never feel like a burden or obligation.

If daily journaling is starting to make you resentful, then take the pressure off by doing it once a week.

I created a journal-planner-and-self-care ritual in one called The Sunday Night Project. It’s a way of making Sunday nights sacred by allowing you some quiet time before the inevitability of Monday morning.

The Sunday Night Project is composed of two pages. The left-hand side has a journaling prompt that helps you discover what you want or unearth what needs to be healed in compassion.

The right-hand side is the essential planner page where you can reflect on the week that was. There’s also space to list down what you’re grateful for, what you’re looking forward to and what you want to accomplish.

The Sunday Night Project also includes a whole routine where journaling is part of an amazing Sunday self-care ritual.

The Sunday Night Project will give you much-needed me-time. It will provide the clarity you need to focus on what’s important to you in the following week, an essential gratitude practice and the space to fall in love with yourself and your life again. Doing this weekly will give you the self-care benefits of journaling without having to burden yourself with a daily commitment.

If you want to receive a digital download of The Sunday Night Project, sign up for the newsletter below. You will also receive a copy of Your Heart-Crafted Life or what I call my life coaching session in a workbook and access to Inspired Space, my exclusive repository of inspiring e-books and worksheets.
