Meeting the woman of my dreams

I’m no longer interested in meeting the man of my dreams. (Maybe it’s because I married him. 😄 As I’m writing this, we’re actually celebrating our wedding anniversary.)

Instead, I’m excited to meet the woman in them.

Who is she?

She is the future version of me, someone who has made all those images pasted in my Sunday Night Journal pages a reality, not by hustling and burning out but through loving, joyful service and making aligned choices. She is encouraging me and cheering me on, telling me not to give up. In fact, she says that she can already see me from where she is.

And that is amazing.

For the longest time, her presence was shrouded in the mist. She was merely a concept, an idea. She didn’t seem real. But now she is becoming clearer, like a Polaroid film slowly developing in front of my eyes. Where she is and who she is are actually better than I had ever imagined.

I love the idea of how in my choices, I am rising up to meet my future self. I’m not just casually walking up to her. I need to rise—to elevate my mindset, my energy, my actions.

How about you?

Have you thought about the woman of your dreams?

Where is she calling from?

And what do you need to boldly embrace or let go in order to rise up to meet her?
